> Install PDF Exporter for Confluence and export your first PDF in minutes

# Quick Start Guide

## Installation

1. Go to the [Atlassian Marketplace](https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/726790413)
2. Search for **"PDF Exporter for Confluence"**
3. Click **"Get it now"** and select your Confluence Cloud instance
4. Complete the installation

## Export Your First Page

1. Navigate to any Confluence page
2. Click the **•••** (More actions) menu in the top-right corner
3. Select **"Export to PDF"**
4. Choose a template (or use the default)
5. Click **"Export"**
6. Your PDF downloads immediately

## Export from Global Navigation

For hierarchy or space exports:

1. Click **Apps** in the Confluence global navigation
2. Select **"PDF Exporter"**
3. Choose your scope — page, hierarchy, or space
4. Select a template, configure options
5. Click **"Export"** and download

## Understanding Templates

Templates define the visual formatting of every export — fonts, cover page, headers, footers, watermarks, and table of contents. Admins create and manage templates from **Confluence Settings → PDF Exporter**.

If no custom templates exist, the app uses a clean default template.
