Installation
- Go to the Atlassian Marketplace
- Search for “Markdown Macro for Confluence”
- Click “Get app”
- Select your Confluence instance
- Click “Install”
Your First Markdown Page
- Navigate to any Confluence page
- Start typing ‘/Markdown’
- Select “Markdown Macro”
- Start writing markdown in the left pane
- Preview your content in real-time on the right
- Click “Save” when ready
Basic Usage
Writing Markdown
- Type your content using markdown syntax
- Use the toolbar for common formatting
- Preview changes in real-time
- Save your work regularly
Adding Attachments
- Click the attachment icon in the toolbar
- Select files from your Confluence instance
- Insert them into your markdown
- Preview to ensure proper display

- Click the template icon
- Choose from available templates
- Fill in the template content
- Save your new page
