Export Pages

Single Page Export

Export one Confluence page as a standalone PDF. Steps:
  1. Navigate to the page you want to export
  2. Click ••• (More actions) → Export to PDF
  3. Select a template
  4. Click Export
  5. Your PDF downloads immediately

Page Hierarchy Export

Export a parent page and its child pages as individual PDFs bundled into a ZIP. Steps:
  1. Navigate to the parent page
  2. Click •••Export to PDF
  3. Select “Include child pages”
  4. Review the page list — uncheck any pages to exclude
  5. Select a template
  6. Click Export and download the ZIP
Each child page becomes a separate PDF inside the ZIP, named after the page title.

Space Export

Export an entire Confluence space from the global Apps menu. Steps:
  1. Click Apps in Confluence global navigation → PDF Exporter
  2. Select the target space
  3. Choose which pages to include (select all or filter)
  4. Select a template
  5. Click Export
  6. Download the ZIP archive

Content Preservation

The PDF exporter preserves all standard Confluence content:
  • Headings, bold, italic, underline, strikethrough
  • Ordered and unordered lists, nested lists
  • Tables with borders and alignment
  • Code blocks with monospace formatting
  • Images and inline media
  • Info, warning, note, and tip panels (styled as colored boxes)
  • Horizontal rules and blockquotes
Macros: Standard Confluence macros are rendered as their visual output. Complex third-party macros may render as plain text or be omitted.
